HBA was tasked with performing the structural and site concrete work for a new performing arts building. Two new steel framed buildings consiting of pad footings and grade beams and 16” wide x 36’0” tall cast in place walls poured monolithically with colored self-consolidating concrete. HBA successfully poured 20,400 square feet of slab on grade and 28,800 square feet of slab on metal deck. Portions of the slab on metal deck received charcoal colored concrete with mica broadcast into finished layer of concrete then received at light polish finish.
Site concrete consisted of cast in place retaining wall and grey broom finished sidewalks, stairs on grade, and seat alls.
